I See... What We Did Before Television

What did we do before television? Before we turned over a majority of our lives to be informed, entertained, and babysat by something that is not real? If you lived in the mid-Atlantic region in the fall, this is what you did:




































You enjoyed the random beauty of nature; the kaleidoscope of autumn colors cast boldly against a greying sky. Endless hours may have been spent interpreting the shapes of clouds and analyzing deeper meanings behind swirling packets of fallen leaves racing across the landscape. I did it for only a half-hour last week and was surprised at how well it refreshed me spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
