I See... Out of the Best Books

The purpose of a third eye is to see things that often get overlooked. When you view books not as measure of your own intelligence, but as tools to enrich and improve your life, some unexpected titles may rise to the surface. At the far left, at the bottom of this page, via Shelfari, is a list of my favorite books, appearing in order of their utility to me. The Book of Mormon’s place at the top should not surprise anyone; however, I hope the one next to it, the classic “The Monster at the End of this Book,” prompts you to wonder why it has brought such great joy in my life!

  1. I always loved "The Monster at the End of This Book". It builds up foreboding feeling about reaching the end and then when you actually get there it turns out to be something happy, familiar, and a relief.

Kind of reminds of me of how death is.

Kind of reminds me of repentance.

I'm glad you put that in the list.
