I See.. Brian, Man of Miracles

It's ok to brag about your own kids on a blog, right? We are so proud of Brian and his service as a missionary in the North Carolina Charlottte Mission. I didn't realize, however, that he was qualified in the Lord's eyes to perform miracles until I read this quote from President Benson, courtesy of the Hampstead Ward newsletter:

“Give me a young man who has kept himself morally clean and has faithfully attended his Church meetings. Give me a young man who has magnified his priesthood and has earned the Duty to God Award and is an Eagle Scout. Give me a young man who is a seminary graduate and has a burning testimony of the Book of Mormon. Give me such a young man, and I will give you a young man who can perform miracles for the Lord in the mission field and throughout his life.”

  1. Hey Bishop! I am glad I was blogstalking tonight and found your blog. We miss you and the Hampstead ward. It has been a long time since we were in MD, it's about time we make a visit. Until then, if your ever in Seattle, come see us (and the Calderwoods too)! And, stop by our blog and say hi, it's only fair to leave a comment when you blogstalk =) I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
    Love, Ronnie and Jodee
